What we ask you (once)

Roof type (shingle, metal, tile), squares or home sq ft, stories, pitch, tear-off layers, decking replacement, insurance claim yes/no, photos, timeline.

How it works

  1. Describe the job once. A short form with dropdowns and checkboxes, plus your photos, plans or survey.
  2. You approve the list. BidScout finds licensed contractors in your radius and shows you who it plans to contact, and the exact message. Nothing goes out until you say yes.
  3. One consistent request. Every contractor gets the same spec, so the prices can actually be compared. Your street address is shared only when a contractor asks for it and you OK it.
  4. It handles the back-and-forth. It answers spec questions from your form, asks you when it doesn't know (and remembers), and politely follows up after 3 days.
  5. Side-by-side comparison. Line items lined up, missing items (like permits) flagged, outliers marked. Then check reviews and licenses and invite your top 2–3 out.

BidScout never books, signs or pays for anything for you. Contractors can opt out of future requests at any time.
